After installing EndNote, EndNote will appear in the tool bar of MS Office,thus in-text citation can be inserted quickly as EndNote and MS Word are connected.

Option 1:Move the cursor to where the citation will be inserted, then choose the reference and click "Insert Citation".

Option 2:Move the cursor to where the citation will be inserted, then choose "insert citation" from the navigation tab of EndNote in MS Word, find the choose reference in EndNote, then click “Insert”.

undefined Change Citation Style in One Click

1. EndNote provides a large number of embedded citation styles. Choose “Style” in Office Word, or click “Select another style” to view more citation styles. Choose the citation style you need, then all citation will changed in one click.

2. If the citation style is not included in the EndNote embedded styles, you can search the style via the website of EndNote and download it, then double-click the document in EndNote to open and then save by choosing “File--Save as”. Next, open Word to find the citation style and apply by choosing “Style--Select another style”.

 Delete Domain Code

Inserting citations in Word with EndNote is fullfilled by domain code, in this way citation styles can be changed with one click. If the documents are finished, domain code needs to be deleted to avoid errors. So you need to choose “Convert Citations and Bibliography”--“Conver to Plain Text”,then click "Confirm".
